It was in 2016. I was getting ready for my final exams in Unilorin then. I was escorting a friend back home and like a stone throw from his house, we stopped to have the final conversation about the coming exams. Whilst discussing, a police hilux stopped in front of us and called us armed robbers, telling us to 'enter hilux'. As a Kogi sharp boy that was born and bred in Owerri, I refused. My brethren, nah God save me that day. I was threatened to be shot and was panel beaten by seven police men that night. I didn't enter enter even while they were beating me for like one hour. My slow friend had to run back to my place to call my elder brother who in turn called my dad(an officer too). After every every, I still enter hilux(stupid me). To cut the story short, I slept in the cell that night with the head of those police men threatening to keep me there for one week. As I enter cell, all my body begin pain me. Nah there I come fear say this man fit make me spill oo(it was on a Friday night). Thank God that the man that was threatening me was a friend of my father from my home town in Kogi. Nah there I know say to go village good! Mehn, on Saturday morning, before 8am, I was on my way back to my lodge with all my body aching me. Lol
