Atiku Media Reacts To 'Thief' Song Released By APC by kirajustice: 8:22am On Oct 23, 2018
@POLITICSNGR

The Spokesman for the Atiku Campaign, Mr. Segun Showunmi has released a statement regarding a song released by the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC titled 'Atiku is a thief'.

The Statement read;

We need to restate as directed by His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, Presidential Candidate of The PDP that the 2019 election should be issue based, deviod of slandering and name calling.

We hold the view that unguarded narrative hurts the country and further divides us as a people.

Some of the consequences of previous mismanaged campaign efforts is perhaps the reason why their is little or no internal cohesion with its attendant security challenges.

Elections comes every 4 years in our country and if great effort is not taken, we could hurt the country and its people needlessly and invariably our democracy.

We have to sign up to these ideals, we can campaign without recourse to hate speech, liabel, lies, undue criminalization of people and each other.

On our part we have signed up to running an issue based campaign and if it is not too hard for the Muhammad Buhari administration and the APC to understand, we call on you to do the same.

There is greater value in doing so. Nigeria is the most populous black nation on earth and we owe it to ourselves and the black race to be above board.

We are trying to present our idea on how the country should be led and not interested in anything else. And by so doing, set Nigeria and its people on the path of working again.

APC typifies of lazy intellects, when they exhaust their stock of sophistry results to insults, propaganda, lies and slander ...just like Tstv APC is an empty barrel that makes the loudest noise...

instead of slander, sell buhari to us.

If it is about song PDP can easily arrange davido to release a full album against the hypocrite party but campaign should be issue based.

Apt response from atiku campaign group ,frustration is beginning to set in apc camp.

Elections comes every 4 years in our country and if great effort is not taken, we could hurt the country and its people needlessly and invariably our democracy.

I am sorry to say but the atmosphere of hate in this country was championed by the APC and this administration. I remember prior to the 2015 elections, the APC insulted, ridiculed, beguiled and castigated Jonathan and his administration. They even threatened to drown anybody against their views, also to set up a parallel Govt should Jonathan win the election. They didn't factor the hate they were spreading, they fought so dirty to get into power.

It didn't even stop there. They got into power and their sole aim was ridiculing those that didn't support them, terming everybody complaining of their bad policies and blame game, wailers. Oga Buhari even crowned it all by his 97, 5% speech.

Igbos and their call for Biafra and counter hatred was as a result of tauntings and calculated actions against them as a result of their decision in 2015. Oga Buhari's fall in line or be killed mode of leadership worsened the entire matter; sending soldiers to a peaceful region, murdering young boys while some people cheered him on and are still cheering him.

Sometimes I wonder why do good..?? When the world will neither learn from it or envy it. See people like Nelson Mandela, a man that spent 27 years in jail, came out.. called on everyone, the oppressors and the oppressed to come together, to forget their grievances and work together for their country. But here it is "remember its 97% and 5%" and some people cheer it on.

Election is around the corner again. I call on we all Nigerians to put aside our differences and peacefully support our candidates. No need for name calling, No need for insults, No need for spreading hate. 2019 will come and go and we all go dey.

#CampaignNotHate!

You lots are worse than a joke of a country.

APC and its zombified supporters are political dullards and a taboo to humanity.

I can't imagine a political party members being so childish and lifeless to release a song for their opponent.

Very apt and matured response from the media team. The video simply shows how desperate the APC is now clutching to propaganda.

Very apt response from Atiku team.

Tell the people what you have in stock for them not trying to blackmail your opponent.

Atiku keep giving me reasons to support him more in the next election.

He is the better man for the job, way more mature than the APC and its team.

Go Atiku it's your time to shine

Lol, when #PDP was using AIT to run full blown malicious slander against buhari and tinubu during last election it was ok abi?

If Atiku is not a thief he should sue na, at least jagaban sued AIT for billions and won... then like a father he forgave them
now this thief doesn't want to be called a thief grin

Very 'Atikulate',matured and responsible response from Atiku Campaign.

APC supporters and stuppidiity is like 5 and 6..l wonder how a party will go from one psychiatric hospital to another looking for members and supporters embarassed....

Insanity is the only adjective one can use to qualify them..

If they are not stalking IPOB and Nnamdi Kanu for support(staking their lives that Igbos will boycot the elections)they are openingly threatning not to hand over if they lose ,now they are waxing songs for Atiku all in the name of campaign strategy..

The funny thimg is that they always start what they cant finish..i can personally wax enough songs to denigrate buhari, osibanjo and co if need be cos its not a big deal, but it will be very silly, childish and petty for anyone to resort to that...Watch them (APC)whine about 'hate speech' when they are paid back in their own coin

But can APC members and supporters ever think rationally??..,not in this life or next.

With that song, APC stooped to all time low with their inordinate and callous desperation which would later prove to be the prerequisite for their major undoing.

Sell your candidate, that's if he's sellable, and let others sell theirs too, how is this hard to come by?
Atiku was a saint prior to leaving the wrecking ship but now a thief. How these people sleep overnight with this their shameless rhetorics and acts still beats me!

Last bullet: If you're one of them that were shouting to high heavens then that even if Buhari presented a nepa bill, you'd still vote him, please, be reminded that you lack the moral ground to ask me why I'd vote Atiku because of the allegations against him even as he's not being tried by any court of law in Nigeria at the moment.

Your Lord Bubu employed tens of SANs to defend his inability to present his certificate and all you could do is still shout integrity up and down.

Nonsense!!!
Make I dey Atikulate dey go jare. Let those leaving in their world of delusion keep thinking the Daura lord is the best thing to ever happen to Nigeria after slice bread.
