The Plateau State Police Command has declared eight persons wanted in connection with the missing Major General Idris Alkali, the retired former Chief of Administration at Army headquarters.

The Police said preliminary investigation into the disappearance of the senior retired officer showed that the suspects masterminded and executed the disappearance.

A statement by DSP Tyopev Tarneer, Public Reations Officer listed those wanted as Da Chuwang Samuel (aka Morinho). He is 28 years old. Dark in complexion, has no tribal markson his face and is tall. He is a pabel beater by profession and Berom by tribe. He speaks berom, hausa and english fluently. His phone number is 08063644429.

Nyam Samuel (aka Soft Touch). He is 25 year old, tall, dark in complexion and hos no tribal marks on his face. He is a panel beater by profession and Berom by tribe. He speaks hausa, berom and english fluently.

Mathew Wrang (aka Amesco). He is 27 years old, tall and dark in complexion with no tribal marks on his face. He hss Adams Apple, is married. He is Berom by tribe and speaks hausa, berom and english fluently.

Pam Gyang Dung (aka Boss). He is 53 years old with an upoer gap too. Dark in complexion, tall with no marks on his face. He has a bald head and his occupation is farming and mining. He is Berom by tribe. He speaks hausa, berom and english fluently.

Chuwang Istifanus Pwajok Stephen (aka Tifa). He is 46 years old, light in complexion and has mustache, tall and has no tribal mark on his face. He is a surveyor and businessman by occupation. He is Berom by tribe. He speaks hausa, berom and english fluently.

Timothy Chuan. He is 26 years old, light in complexion, tall and has no tribal marks on his face. He is married and a tipper driver as well as sand vendor by occupation. He is Berom by tribe, speaks hausa, berom and english fluently. His phone number is 09081177173.

Our police are useless. They even described one as having Adam’s apple! I am surprised they didn’t describe their scrotal sacks.

This leads to the question of what all the agencies and organisations that collect our data do with them if they cannot collaborate. If I have a phone, then chances are that the SIM is registered and if it is registered then I have a picture there then you don’t have to use vague descriptions for suspects.

With their numbers, you can get cellphone activity records and triangulate their location.

Leads me to an experience with them where we found a car that was snatched. They told us not to go close and wait for “forensics” to arrive. They finally did with a big box of brushes and black powder and began lifting finger prints. I asked one of them which database they were going to run the prints against tonget a match and he said “ you don’t know how this works, we go put an inside machine and e go show the face of the owner”.

My brother, dont blame the police, blame ur politicians.. U see, in this country, we are funny, we expect our security personnel to perform magic with nothing.. While we celebrate and give excuses to our leaders..

The police is the most important security outfit in nigeria and in most countries.. Some countries don't even have military units..

Nigeria does not have much of external aggressions.. The major problem is Internet issues.. The police if well equipped can manage these things..

Go and see how other countries wey sabi dey take care of their police units. It is only in extreme situations u see the military in collaboration with the police.


We leave the politicians that we suppose to fight and be fighting police men..

See police officers who can't even build house on decent income due to poor salaries.. No protective gears during slide threatening duties.. Nonsense country..
