Killings like this has become an every day news. If its not in Lagos it in abuja or in port Harcourt etc yet our politicians are busy decamping and recamping from one political party to another. The most painful aspects of the whole scenario is our youths attitudes on news like this

you need to see how those police men hustle the #100 from taxi drivers. that money is the standard fee, they (police) can delay the vehicle and its occupants because of that money.
Imagine collecting #250 from 6passengers going to Akabuka, union collect #250 then about 4 check points before getting to Akabuka.. u haven't put fuel money.
That Obite checkpoint is the worst especially from the male officer (can't tell his name) and the female officer (madam joy). The worst is that that checkpoint is a divisional headquarters front gate. their ogas know what's going on and they space out, so no chance escaping that money.. the taxi drivers don't have anybody to complain to

how do I know? am serving there and pass that route always

A former chairman of PDP in ward 4 Ahoada East local government area in Rivers state, Unwobudu Edima Sydah was allegedly shot dead by a police officer over 100 bribe in Rivers State.
The incident reportedly happened at a police check point in Obite Town, ONELGA on Wednesday, October 24th.

According to an eye witness: "A man killed a taxi driver at Obite town over the inability of the
taxi driver to give them N100 they refused people to take pictures and even OSPAC members from coming close tho their station.
''This happened Yesterday 24th of October, 2018 at their usual roadblock in front of their station at Obite town. Indeed police is your friend."
