akdjr: Here’s the issue, first u need to understand democracy everywhere in the world grew overtime, people, citizens and leaders contributed to the growth of their democracy. Obj’s era was a teething phase hence a lot of things that happened then can’t dare happen now due to the growth in our democracy. If anyone try’s such it will be kicked against. 2ndly Gej during his leaving office contributed a strong legacy that has marked a growth for our democracy. Free and fair elections and rule of law. Whoever tookover from him must carry on and uphold these principles or he will be marked by history as a destroyer/killer of Nigerian democracy. If Pdp shud ever return they must live up to buharis positive legacies as well or face public and international condemnation. It is a growth and process to get it right. Anyone who intentionally takes us to the dark days will definitely face the backlash and outright condemnation be it Apc or Pdp. Even in 2015 Apc rallied international support to put pressure on Jonathan for free and fair so this is very normal. We are not going back to 2003/2007/2011 era unless we have decided to regress intead of progress. Such person is a curse to our democracy and history will mark it against him. Democracy is a growth process. 1 Like |

yemaldo:Call 9ja Sh!tholic Republic. That nor be new thing again. Though the allegations are weighty. Like play like play we might just ruin the only thing going for 9ja: Not being a pariah state with a despotic military ruler. Though anyone of a certain age will look at Buhari & see 1983. And wonder if I am not mistaken. |

ajl:I don't even know how to describe these people. Patriotism is very very important. It remains, the panacea to whatever challenge a state is facing. Nigerian politicians are not patriotic. And this is bane of Nigeria's problems. These people are ready to sacrifice the destiny of their nation to get their selfish interest. What am I even saying? People that use the lives of the citizens to play politics. This is same way APC is shouting that Atiku should visit America, as if Nigeria is a vassal state of America. It would have been better if they are doing all these rubbish for the interest of the nation. When will these people stop behaving like those who don't know what they are doing? If only these useless mofo know the implications of this on the national security, image and its citizens outside the country. This is really embarrassing for a county that sees itself as a leader in Africa. I don't think the citizens of Gambia or Lesotho will do this. |
