Job opening for Ambulance Driver!
Location - Ajah, Lagos (Candidates within this area will be given preference)

The successful candidate will drive the Ambulance to transport clients who are sick, have accidents or disabled.

Job Responsibilities
1. To complete a mechanical drill checklist prior daily to ensure that the ambulance is in working order and ready to transport patients to and from required locations, and report any mechanical issues to appropriate service personnel on duty.
2. Ensure the ambulance are very clean and stocked properly with first aid and medical supplies daily and also between patient transports throughout the day.
3. Accept patient's transport assignments daily and drive the ambulance with any necessary medical personnel to a patient's location as assigned.
4. To help patients carefully and patiently into the ambulance stretcher, to be assisted by a partner or other medical personnel available.
5. Transport patients to assigned medical facilities, unload patients and take patients inside facilities and to where directed by medical personnel or as instructed.
6. Attend to emergency calls to transport patients to hospitals when assigned to do so.
7. Complete appropriate logbook trips as required by a hospital to record officially each transport.

Qualifications Reqiured:
• Diploma, HND or equivalent
• CPR, BLS certification is an added advantage
• Valid drivers license
• Willingness to participate in on-the-job training
• Knowledge of radio/standard radio transmission codes
• Pass physical agility test
• Previous experience with stretchers, hydraulic and wheelchair lifts
• Map/GPRS reading ability

Min Required Experience: 3 years
