Do you know the formula for tax deductions on earnings? If truly this is a tax deduction then it is way above what it should be and again, not all earnings are taxable and as this is a loan, it should not be taxed. Not supporting any party but I need to point that out. I think the proper thing to do is inform the recipients about the deductions and the reason behind it. It's not too much to expect a breakdown on why 2,000 naira was deducted from 10,000 naira.

I belive the money is a grant, not an income. So what tax are you referring to.Even if N2k is deducted, itvshoukd reflect in the transaction and state what it is deducted for. Except if a payment or money receiving platform, in which case they are charging a fee.
