It was within his purview to look into the matter and the findings then was that the suspension did not follow due process, in addition to indications that it was a case of corruption fighting back -i.e. the NIHS boss was being targeted as a result of a gang up by powerful corrupt forces (mainly HMOs) unhappy with the far reaching reforms he introduced.
The current probe, like the first one, is still under the SGF's office; the only difference being that this time the CEO has not been re-instated but on compulsory leave in order to allow for full investigations into both allegations and counter allegations against him - to halt repeat occurrence.
