|Black Nigerian Couple Put To Bed A White Baby by manmustwac(m): 11:45am On Jul 20, 2010|
Genetics experts have been amazed by the birth of a blonde, blue-eyed white baby - to a black couple.
Proud parents: Angela and Ben Ihegboro are amazed by their daughter
Doctors insist tiny Nmachi is not an albino and neither of the parents have any mixed-race family history.
Dad Ben Ihegboro, 44, a railway customer services adviser, said: ""We both just sat there after the birth staring at her for ages - not saying anything.
"The first thing I said was 'What the flip?'.
Nmachi, whose name means Beauty of God in the Nigerian homeland of parents Angela and Ben, was born at Queen Mary's Hospital in Sidcup, Kent.
Doctors there told them she is not an albino.
"She doesn't look like an albino child anyway - not like the ones I've seen back in Nigeria or in books," Ben tells The Sun. "She just looks like a healthy white baby."

Ben added: "Of course, she's mine. My wife is true to me. Even if she hadn't been, the baby still wouldn't look like that.
"We don't know of any white ancestry. We wondered if it was a genetic twist, But even then, what's with the long curly blonde hair?"
Professor Bryan Sykes, head of Human Genetics at Oxford University, said: "In mixed race humans, the lighter variant of skin tone may come out in a child - and this can sometimes be startlingly different to the skin of the parents.
"This might be the case where there is a lot of genetic mixing, as in Afro-Caribbean populations. But in Nigeria there is little mixing."
He said that both parents would have needed some form of white ancestry for a pale version of their genes to be passed on.
"The hair is extremely unusual," Prof Sykes said. "Even many blonde children don't have blonde hair like this at birth."
Some form of unknown mutation was the most likely explanation, he added.
The couple, of Woolwich, south London, have two other children, four-year-old Chisom and sister Dumebi, two.
Mum Angela, 35, tells the paper: "Nmachi's colour doesn't matter. She's a miracle baby. But still, what on earth happened here?"

|Re: Black Nigerian Couple Put To Bed A White Baby by naijadiva2(f): 3:20pm On Oct 06, 2010|
what was that for? It is true, just like u may have a white couple who may give birth to a black child. it has happened. I do not think that there is anyone on the face of this earth who has "pure" european blood, or "pure" african blood, or "pure" asian blood. Thats reality so ppl shouldnt be shocked by stories such as this one. genetics does not care if you are the blackest black or the whitest white, it is gonna do its thing, period!

I already told you guys that people know their family history very well in Igboland, these people do not have any Europeans in their family, if they did they'd say so. Many of these Europeans were stationed in specific areas, many of them were in Igboland in the late 1800's and no earlier, which means that their presence in their family tree is even more detectable. All of them were men, and I know you people aren't telling me that a white man assimilated into an Igbo village. There are similar cases of this in Nigeria, it doesn't mean European ancestry.

Dont you just find it so amazing how this baby is described as a "miracle"? or the black American baby on the youtube videos with blue eyes is described as "cutest black baby" and "wonderful black baby?".
I swear you can't tell white people they are not African now and that evolution is just a theory lol.
Anyway on a SERIOUS note they act like slavery is just a Afro. latin, caribbean and American issue in regard to mixing and rape. There is a reason for the various skin colors in Africa, this baby is not an exception. She' lightskinned with blonde hair and blue eyes, thats great but not the first. Next. . .
