When we look at events that have been playing out in this country since the Ekiti elections one cannot stop doubting the integrity of our president. We witnessed a new style of vote buying during elections with his party spending more at the polling centers. He looked the other way.

Now he claimed to have written his WAEC exam in 1961 with the late Shehu Yaradua. Why must it be the dead man? Seeing that he attended public schools where we know many pupils attend, are there no surviving classmates who can attest that he attended school with him?

Why did he have to bring the WAEC man to publicly present an attestation to him? The result he claimed to have submitted to the army suddenly cannot be found in the records? For all his attempts to become president he got affidavits. He knew clearly all these while that he was lying under oath. How is he better than Kemi Adeosun and others who presented fake results?

How can one define a liar? At least it is now clear why the cases of Maina and Babachir will not get to court under this government.

The president has some things to hide. Who can probe him? Now he has a political clearance paper. What a shame.

Is looting funds the only standard to measure a man's integrity? Certainly the answer is NO. He assured us that under his watch there no longer will be medical tourism, he promoted it and even his son benefitted.

Clearly the man cannot claim to be incorruptible.
