EXCLUSIVE: BUHARI HISTORICAL CERTIFICATE SAGA

I want to re-state categorically that Buhari has NO VERIFIABLE CERTIFICATE anywhere in the world.

1. WAEC/CAMBRIDGE GCE: - Buhari did not sit for the Cambridge examination in 1961 as his names (Muhammadu, Mohammed or Mohamed Buhari) is not in the UK Examination body's List of candidates names from 1960-1962

2. His name(s) is also NOT on WAEC candidates names in both Ghana and Nigeria Offices from 1960-1962. Any attempt by Buhari or his agents to present any document to INEC representing WACE or GCE certificate may constitute an Offence.(FORGERY, PERJURY PENDING)

3. CERTIFICATE/ARMY RECRUITMENT: - Buhari presented no certificate to the Nigerian Army in 1961 when Late Ahmadu Bello conscripted him from his School (Still In session) to join the Army, as he has none. The only paperwork came from his school principal, stating that,

4. , "I consider that he (Buhari) will pass west African school certificate, with credit in English, Maths and three other subjects". This letter is self-explanatory. You cannot pass an examination you never sat for.

5. NIGERIA DEFENCE ACADEMY (NDA): - Buhari did not attend the NDA as claimed. He attended Royal Military Forces Training College (RMFTC) for months (End of 1961 to the beginning of 1962) for normal Army recruitment and physical fitness training

6. This is not a certification programme. RMFTC was renamed NDA (established on the 5th of February 1964), and regular courses were introduced thereon.

7. UK MILITARY TRAINING: Buhari attended the Aldershot based, Mons Officer Cadet School. No Certificate was issued to Buhari, as he passed no examination for the short period he was in the UK in 1963. Cadet School information collaborates this.

8. DEFENCE SERVICE STAFF COLLEGE, WILLINGTON, INDIA: - As usual, Buhari attended the staff college and did not sit for their examinations. The Defence Services Staff College, Willington does not issue a certificate of attendance to its attendee in 1974.

9. US WAR COLLEGE: - Buhari left this College in 1980. He has in his Wikipedia page that he was offered a Master Degree in the same college in 1980.

10. THE US War college have confirmed that they started their Master program in the year 2000 and there is no way Buhari would have gotten a Masters degree in that college in 1980. Again, no certificate was issued to him.
Veritable facts

11. Buhari has just received an attestation certificate today, after donkey years! They gleefully took a picture, claiming the officials took the attestation certificate to him. Sorry Nigerians! You have just been deceived and SCAMMED AGAIN.

12. Conclusion: No doubt according to Edrees Abdukareem, “Buhari is the most successful fraudster” in the History Of Nigeria.

The Presidency and the West African Examinations Council, on Saturday, disagreed on the reason for the issuance of an Attestation of Results to President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday.

While the Presidency insisted that Buhari didn’t apply for the results of the West African School Certificate Examination, which he claimed to have sat for in 1961, the examination body said the document was issued because the President applied for it.

WAEC’s spokesman, Damianus Ojijeogu, stated this in an interview with our correspondent on Saturday.

Ojijeogu, in an interview with SUNDAY PUNCH, said, “We would not have given him the document if he didn’t apply. It is only Buhari or a court that can ask for the results. There is no other person. So he asked for it.”

Also, WAEC said in issuing an Attestation of Results to replace a lost or missing WAEC certificate, the subjects, where the candidate had F9, would no longer be captured.

WAEC Nigeria said these on its Twitter handle, @waecnigeria, on Saturday, while answering questions from several Nigerians on the omission of F9 from Buhari’s attestation.

“That is WAEC Twitter handle. It is correct,” Ojijeogu added, confirming the authenticity of the post on the handle.

The documents were presented to the President at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, during a courtesy visit by a delegation of WAEC led by its Registrar, Dr. Iyi Uwadiae.

Uwadiae was accompanied by the Head, National Office, WAEC, Olutise Adenipekun; Head, Public Affairs, WAEC, Abiodun Aduloju; and the Zonal Coordinator, WAEC Abuja, Olufemi Oke.

Buhari received the documents amidst the controversy generated over his claim in his details presented to the Independent National Electoral Commission that his credentials were with the Military Board.

The board had subsequently declared the President’s certificate missing, hence the need for him to get an attestation and a confirmation.

Earlier on its Twitter handle on Saturday, the examination body had stated, “You cannot apply for Attestation of Results or any other document if you have not registered and sat for the examination.

“The documents for application are a letter of application, police report on lost or damaged certificate, photocopy of lost or damaged certificate, two recent passport-sized photographs of the candidate, sworn affidavit for collection of attestation of results and administrative fee of N20,000.”

But the Presidency, which spoke through Buhari’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, said the initiative to make the documents available to the President was that of the examination body.

Shehu, in an interview with SUNDAY PUNCHon Saturday, said WAEC authorities made it clear that they read about the controversy generated by the President’s missing certificate and saw the need to save the council’s integrity.

The presidential spokesman added, “No, the President did not apply for the documents. I made this clear in an opinion I wrote on Friday.

“The presentation of the documents to the President was strictly an initiative of WAEC.

“They said they read about the controversy on the pages of newspapers and saw the need to save the integrity of the council.”

Shehu had, in an opinion, titled ‘President Buhari, WAEC and PDP’s toxic air’, on Friday, quoted the examination body as saying that the controversy concerning Buhari’s school certificate was embarrassing and felt a sense of duty to produce and deliver the documents to him.

He had said, “This is a god-send, with WAEC being a non-political entity. This should put to rest the absurd allegations by the Peoples Democratic Party, brought up again and again, that he (Buhari) did not attend a secondary school.”

WAEC said the controversy surrounding the President’s picture was due to a guideline that the council used the photograph of the applicant for the attestation and not the pupil’s picture as of the time of sitting for the examination.

WAEC also said it did not issue the attestation of results to Buhari in 2015 because there was no application for it.

It said, “WAEC does not record fail in certificates. He (Buhari) did not apply for it in 2015. In August 2015, the council introduced Attestation of Results that can be obtained on request and that can serve as a replacement for lost or missing certificates.

“It should be the passport photo he (Buhari) submitted during the application for Attestation of Results. Attestation of Results carries passport of the candidate’s application when he or she applied. Candidates were first issued Attestation of Results by WAEC Nigeria in 2015.

“What we presented to President Buhari on Friday was a Statement/Attestation of Results and not a certificate. Subjects that a candidate had F9s in are no longer captured in certificates or Attestation of Results.”

You all should find something better doing with your lives other countries are making breakthroughs in spheres of live. Rather that to see how we can get him elevate the economy and welfare of Nigerians, you are all setting on inconsquentials.
The Law requires
he is a citizen of Nigeria by birth;
he has attained the age of thirty five years;
he is a member of a political party and is sponsored by that political party;
he has been educated up to at least School Certificate level or its equivalent.

Is it met or not?
Yes. So why all this brouhaha
I blame the government for responding from the beginning and this shows that we are quite less knowledgeable about our own law.

Issues like why Fashola finding it difficult to bring power to 20,000MegaWatts since. Fashola is a performer so what is wrong with PHCN. I'm sure we all remember Bola Ige too tried. He was murdered. Why? No answer yet.

So what's in our power sector that's turning brave men to mumu?

This flux between individuals and institutions will never allow this country to develop. When will our leaders ever become entirely selfless and stop dragging people aground to their levels of depravity. Now these people want to ruin the reputation of the institution that conducts examinations and approves our young men and women for higher education.

Why drag WAEC into this unfortunate mud slug...and the fact that the citizens of this country are not incensed that the credibility of their own certificates are at stake and should therefore condemn all parties involved is really sad. Institutions I know round the developed world guard their credibility with all intent and will seek judicial protection when they ate compelled to do what is unethical.

The other day it was the NYSC looking forlon with the Adeosun saga, now it is WAEC that is threatening its own relevance for a public office holder who is elected today and gone tomorrow. They should extricate themselves from this mess and stick to their rules no matter whose ox is gored.

Enough of this nonsense.

Well said y'all! The World is evolving, Buhari was elected by majority of Nigerians in 2015 seeking change. At that time no-one cared about results or certificate.
Now it's less than a year before the next election and we are clamoring....
If Buhari with out waec results/certificate and yahoo boys who mostly drop out of school are celebrated in Nigerian society, then Education na SCAM truely. Many OAP who even studied abroad and returned to Naija still depend and hype artists, footballers and yahoo boys for some tip....

President Buhari and his handlers did not handle this fiasco well right from when it began generating controversy. He should have written to WAEC then and get this attestation to nip it right in the bud then. But they allowed it to fester.
Now after repeating the same excuse of it being with the military - which he is ironically now their C-in-C - and witnessing the rightful backlash from the public, he finally did the right thing now but the mistrust and suspicion in the air makes this look somewhat staged even if the attestation appears genuine as it is coming from the certified West African body.

WAEC has its headquarters in Ghana. This headquarter oversees all its operation in the West Africa subregion, including Nigeria. If I write to this headquarter concerning my certificate or result, it has got the database of every examination the body has conducted since it was established in the early 60s.

Now, prior to 2015 election when Buhari's certificate controversy came up, a non profit organization based in Nigeria (I forget the name) wrote to WAEC about this issue. Even though WAEC cannot reveal the details of the certificate or result of individuals to anyone except the person himself or a court, it can still confirm if the name of person of interest is available in it's database.
Buhari's name on the statement of result he claimed was "Mohammed Buhari"
WAEC Ghana replied that no such name exists in it's records of candidates who sat for its exams in 1961.

Is that self explanatory enough?
WAEC Nigeria pulled out this recent fad from it's ass. This singular action will spell more woe for upcoming generations with aspirations to study overseas.
Before now, our University degrees are mostly disregarded. After this, with the president shamelessly issued an attestation of result he never earned, it is curtains for your kids and my kids.
This is treachery in high places. Just wait and watch the repercussions in the next few years.
