A petrol tanker suddenly burst into flames while in transit along the Lagos-Benin expressway.

Luckily, the petrol tanker was not conveying a significant amount of fuel.

The incident, which occurred last Saturday evening at the Ofosu axis of the expressway, left several road-side shops completely burnt down.

It took the spirited intervention of people around the scene of the incident to minimize the spread of the inferno.

According to an eye-witness account, no life was lost.

Can't understand why these things keep happening all the time in this shit hole of a nation. In developed countries like US petroleum products are transported by rail because of their flammable nature, to protect lives and properties of citizens. Our leaders travel to these countries every time, and have seen how things work, yet they can't implement here. Is this not wickedness? The same people will line up in mosques on Friday and churches come Sunday singing haleluyah.

By the way, I have portable bluetooth speakers for sale, check my profile for info.

Why putting fault on govt ?,dont blame Buhari the fault is from the tanker driver ,either his reckless driving or not checking his truck for good condition or not.maybe the driver tried to manage for the trip......
