ASUU Give Six(6) Conditions to Call-off strike (as contained in 2017 Memorandum of Action)

1) Immediate release of N23bn out of the N128bn of Earned Academic Allowances

2)The FG should continue to take responsibility for university staff schools teacher salaries.

3) On revitalisation, FG should release N20bn as a sign of commitment for revitalisation of 84 public varsities

4) The FG should also direct the CBN to create separate interest-yielding accounts at Treasury Bill rates for university endowment funds, research grants and other such similar funds.

5) FG is to write state governments regarding the proliferation of tertiary institutions without proper funding of existing ones.

6)Release of PenCom registration licence to Nigerian University Pension Management Company

From these demands, ONLY NO 1 is the real demand. they want their money. simple! They are not interedted in education funding!

Imagine saying fed govt should pay university staff schhol salaries, nonsense. If the university cant manage the school they should hands off and give it up.

Hope u know that the FG is proprietor of the university staff schools.

Moreover, there's already an exist court judgment that order FG to continue responsibility of university staff schools teacher salaries since they bear the ownership title.

FG should implement agreement reached with ASUU since September 2017
