President Muhammadu Buhari's Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, has described the 2019 presidential election as a contest between light and darkness that he expects the president to win.

While speaking during an interview on Channels Television's Politics Today on Sunday, November 4, 2018, the president's spokesperson said Nigerians will decide on the right candidate who'll move the nation forward.

He said, "What we know is that a contest is ahead and it is going to be a contest between light and darkness, between integrity and people who have question marks; between a man whose life is plain and transparent and a man with so much opacity that you can't say, well, this is his life, this is his background and this is how he got this and that.

"It's going to be a fair contest and, at the end of the day, Nigerians will decide."

The 2019 presidential election, scheduled for February 16, 2019, is expected to be closely-fought between President Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, of the People's Democratic Party (PDP).

During Sunday's interview, Adesina also expressed his belief that President Buhari will win with a wider margin than he used to win the 2015 contest.

He said he believes Nigerians will vote for continuity so that the president can consolidate on the achievements of his first term.

He said, "Our conviction is that the party will win by a wider margin, far wider margin, than in 2015. Look around, what is the alternative? Can we afford to take the country back into the infamous past? It would be very sad. It would be quite shameful to take Nigeria back into the past.

"The best option for Nigeria is a continuity of what we have now so that it can be properly consolidated for a better future and Nigerians know it.

"The option is President Buhari to be re-elected. Our confidence is that President Buhari will win the election."

In 2015, the president won with 15,424,921 votes, 2.5 million votes more than second-placed Goodluck Jonathan who won 12,853,162 votes. It was the first time an opposition candidate had beaten an incumbent president in a democratic election.

APC is so proud and they're rubbing it in our faces, the country is facing economic problems, workers are not paid well, the ordinary Nigerian can't afford the expensive commodities in the markets, corruption is at its highest peak in the country... And all they can do in our present situations is to boast about how they're going to win the 2019 elections with a wide margin

Naija which way sad sad

Trying to energize their base.

Too late, your base was ordinary Nigerians who have lost their jobs or remained jobless, who can no longer afford the high cost of foodstuffs in the market, who still wish for improved electricity despite failed promises, whose friends and family got murdered in ethnic and religious crisis, who still wallow in poverty while Billions of dollars are looted by Buhari and his cohorts, who can not afford decent healthcare while Buhari and his family get the best treatments abroad, who cannot afford 3 meals a day while Buhari and family budget billions of naira to cook in their kitchen

These Nigerians have endured horrendous 3 years of tyranny, lies and deceit. They have cut their losses and moved on

If na rigging make them rig o, ATIKULOOTER and his thievery organization must not get to power.
Cuz is a shame to allow a man that couldn't function as a vice president to claim the mantle of presidential slot because he has money he stole from the poor masses and a cheap popularity brought on by people that wants to cause division to this country.

Atiku has the support of Rebels, Terrorists and criminals causing disruption to Nigeria to achieve their sole negative aims.

BUHARI TILL 2023

Looking at the way the main opposition centered their campaign on irrelevance and unnecessary name calling, President Buhari will still emerge victorious because he is more rooted with the grassroots than Atiku.

Adeboye my mentor, Osinbanjo my role model
The recent scandal rocking the false churches of Nigeria and the hypocrisy that lie therein could not be more personified by a self acclaimed "man of God" who leaked a sex tape involving his estranged lover.

This is the swamp which Adeboye and his ilk have sought to sink Christianity in Nigeria and no other prominent figure in the form of Osinbanjo is more adapted to this Judas role.

The only solace I have is that the embers of the church as still faintly glowing in Nigeria in places that would naturally have not been possible if not for sheer heavenly intervention and the unbridled faith of the Christian cloth - Northern Nigeria!

Leah Shuabu, has displayed more faith in her God than what the entire heathens in places like Redeem Church can muster in a night of feverent prayers for "miraculous breakthroughs ".

Leah, has shown that the south is no match to the north. I have often castigated Northern muslims for their intolerant and zealot mohammedism, but I do admire them for standing for what they believe in. For if a young teenage secondary school girl living in an ultra conservative Islamic society can dare her armed lunatic abductors by not denouncing her faith, risking her freedom and very life, then that ought to tell you of which cloth these northerners are made of.

But would that had been the case if Daddy big bucks Annanias Adeboye was in the shoes of Leah? We all know that that Judas Osinbanjo has already denied Christ more than even the devil himself so it won't be worth using him as an example.

This thread is not about religion but about convictions for there is no belief system that is more fundamental and sentimental as ones religious persuasion. If your average southern fake profiteering pastor and his miracle craving customers do not sincerely hold a grain of faith compared to poor Leah, then that should tell you they have no principles and ethics beyond their stomach and heathen lifestyle. And that alone should tell you that they lead an empty vanity infused life. The north knows this. And that is why they know they can buy your leaders like slaves in an auction. See Amaechi, Tinubu, Falana, Keyamo and even Daddy Big Bucks Adeboye aka Annanias.

Southern fools.

And the only campaign points your janjawiid boko party has is to malign the character of the main opposition contender and his party without telling us what you achieved in these past 3 and a half years.

You must be posting from Laureta's office
