Its Week 11 of the 2018/2019 English Premier League season and as it is customarily, the English Premier league has not failed to serve us with poignant (and at the same time exciting), and a dramatic weekend of football actions.
Below are some of the highs and lows, the trills and frills of the premier league week 11 football actions. Here are 5 things we learned this weekend:

1. Manchester United is still a second-half team – Are they becoming the “King of Comebacks?”
For the third match in a row, Manchester United have fought hard and come back to win a match from a losing position. It is looking like the team now always need a complete switch in attitude and mentality from the players in the second half to win their Premier League matches.
Bournemouth had a good grip of the game at lunchtime on Saturday as Eddie Howe’s men pretty much controlled a large part of the game at first half and they displayed some fantastic attacking football at the Vitality stadium.
It was not until the second half that Manchester United showed their hunger and quality as they took hold of the game from Bournemouth’s grip and Jose Mourinho’s men turned up to the game and displayed some excellent and fantastic attacking football. The change in mentality and attitude from Manchester United players did yield fruitful result as they snatched all 3 points at the death of the game all thanks to a 90th minute injury time goal from Marcus Rashford.

2. Leicester City FC say “goodbye” to Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha in an emotional game
Leicester City FC lost their charismatic and ever supportive chairman and owner in a helicopter crash just a few minutes after their Matchday 10 Premier league game against West Ham United last week.
Although the Premier League officials offered the team a chance to postpone this weeks game against Cardiff City so as to give them time to mourn and recover from the loss of their hugely popular and supportive chairman, but surprisingly after much consultation and deliberations, the club decided to go on and play the match as a tribute to their late chairman, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.
The Leicester City players displayed impressive connection and solidarity with their fans amidst some emotionally touching scenes in Wales on Saturday, despite the fact that football was not the most important aspect of Saturday’s game.
The team came back with a one-goal win against Cardiff in Wales in a match that was emotion triggering for the players and fans alike. The professionalism and strength of character displayed by the players must be well commended for going through the 90minutes of the game despite such poignant event hanging over them.

3. Manchester City trashes Saints in a training exercise-like match
Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City side was in a very fantastic form once again on Sunday as they thrashed Southampton in a Matchday 11 game that looks like yet another training exercise in warming up instead of an actual competitive English Premier League match.
The Saints were miles away from the quality and standard on display by the Premier League champions. Southampton was already down by 3 goals in as early as the 2oth minute of the game and all seems lost from then on even though they did test the Manchester city goalkeeper a few times.
Although to be fair with Southampton, with the form and immense attacking flow of Pep Guardiola’s team, any team can actually go to play at the Etihad and get beaten by Manchester City too.

4. Arsenal, Oh Arsenal
Arsenal looks to be a real deal this season as Unai Emery’s team seems to be way ahead of time in their recovery schedule. Arsenal displayed strong resilience and character in their weekend home game against Liverpool in the 6:30 pm Premier league kick off on Saturday.
Unai Emery’s side was aggressive in their style and approach of the game from the kickoff and made the Liverpool side hustle for their 1point. The Arsenal side was fitter than they were last season and moved the ball quicker through the opposition defense.

5. Wolves lose again
It is now 3 premier league defeats in a row for Nuno Espirito Santo’s Wolverhampton side. They lost their home game 2 – 3 to Tottenham on Saturday evening. Although Wolves had a fair chance of taking some points away from the game against Spurs on Saturday, Tottenham was too clinical in their attacking play and deadly when they needed to be.
Wolves had a goal disallowed and ruled as offside, in a decision that was later seen as a poor call by the referee and later had their players wasting chances upon chances upfront which later came to haunt them in the game.
With their next opponent being Arsenal next week, Wolves will need to take their chances and be more clinical in front of goal if they do not want to dip further down the premier league table after enjoying a positive start to their premier league season after promotion to top-flight English football.....
