I was talking to a colleague today and he told me how his wife craves for this lace wig.On Inquiry i found out that in Yaba, such wigs go for between 20,000-100,000!!!I am like WTF for a Wig? Abeg women in the house i need you opinion on this.

i wish i knew what the craze is for?
the prices are just outrageous IMHO
but if properly worn ,you just cannot tell if its the wearers hair or a wig
thats what differentiates it from the regular cheap wigs plus its 100%human hair
you can color,wash,roll,cut it pretty much do anything you can do to your own hair
thereby personalising it

Those contraptions are a WASTE of money. Why the f**k would I want to glue a damn wig to my head when I have hair of my own!?! Like I said in another thread, I would RATHER walk around bald than to put on one of those contraptions . They're so noticeable and fake looking

Yup, for some people its a lifestyle. I know a girl that has a whole collection of lace front wigs. Its ridiculous, the girls got enough wigs to make Cher, Tina Turner, Beyonce, [and even some drag queens] jealous. And what baffles me is the way she wears them with pride. i saw a beauty pageant photo from 9ja a while back (dont remember which one it was) and ALL THE GALS had weave/wigs or whatever they wanna call it.

so its safe to say that the Nigerian ladies believe that wearing them is the only way to look beautiful. . . . . . . . . as for me, i wouldnt rate very highly a woman who needs a wig/weave to feel beautiful.

I asked an aquaintance who owns a hairdressing shop, she said they are basically all the same, just different styles .

I know there must be some real reason why some can cost £££ of pounds  and some look like Chinese buns with unnatural hairlines .
