An average Nigeria player would do ANYTHING to escape to foreign lands (anywhere better than home) for the proverbial greener pastures they are ready to play at the uttermost part of the earth, including the back side of the desert and also our neighbouring countries as long as their pay is right. So most African countries have at least a Nigeria player in their league not necessarily the elite division and so many returnees from Europe etc will gladly land a “lucrative” contract at a well organised league and in countries where the laws of the game and contractual agreements is king.
