The saying that our destiny is in our hand is true and there are many people who walked on the planet earth and left indelible marks or footprints, in other words, such people fulfilled their destiny in life.

However, there are others, whose destiny were far from being fulfilled as their destiny were strangulated before their very eyes. Such people allowed destiny wasters or destroyers to waste or destroy their life. As such, they could not fulfill their destiny.

To this end, we have to strongly or violently war against destiny wasters or destroyers if we wish to fulfill our destiny, or else our destiny would be wasted or destroyed.

So, in this post, we shall be looking at issues that helped to waste or destroy our destiny which we should guard against.

One of such destiny wasters is selfish ambition: To succeed in life, one is encouraged to have a life ambition. However, there is a situation in which our ambition may be so self-centered.

In which case, the ambition is said to be selfish ambition. Such an ambition ends up destroying our destiny instead of building them up.

A good example can be seen in 2 Samuel 15:1-end. That was the story of the selfish ambition of Absalom who out of selfish ambition wanted to unseat his father. He ended up dying in the process.
