Today been the 6th Nov. 2018 at the secretariat in Alimosho. It is with shock, dismay and disappointment that we read of the disparaging remarks made by Mrs OBY EZEKWESILI to our leader Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. Whilst we have observed that our leader hasn't dignified OBY EZEKWESILI with a reply to her rudderless comments where she claimed that Asiwaju doesn't have a political weight and clout in Alimosho. We have decided as a point of duty and service and to clear any doubt that might have been caused, to issue a response to the undignified comments directed to our leader.

We will sternly like to make it clear to Mrs OBY EZEKWESILI that Alimosho is the mother of all political arena in Nigeria. We make proud to state that a Local Government Area that decides the winner of the Lagos state governor is more influential than any other LGA in Nigeria. With a population that exceeds 2.2million inhabitants, its the largest local government in Nigeria.

Since post 1999, Alimosho has been the decider of state elections in Lagos state. We are proud to say that we have always delivered Alimosho to the progressives party 100%, led by Asiwaju Tinubu till date. Namely Alliance for Democracy AD, Action Congress AC, Action Congress of Nigeria ACN and All Progressives Congress APC. It is no gain saying that it's labelled 'Tinubu's Country'. Under the able leadership of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, the Local Government has been positioned in the world map. Series of infrastructural developments has been initiated to the development of the area when he was the commissioner of works in Lagos state.

We are thou not shocked by OBY EZEKWESILI's comment as she displayed her inexperience, mediocrity and incoherence in political waters. With her claim of using data to analyse voter turnout stating that out of the 687,282 registered voters with INEC in Alimosho, accredited voters were 175,326. Her assertion was that, had the remaining numbers of voters turnout to vote, the APC would have lost at the polls thereby giving a sucker punch to Asiwaju Tinubu's relevance.

This claim is not only erroneous but lacks modicum of tact reasoning, it further puts a question on the polical understanding, sheepish naivety and capacity of a woman running for the highest political office. It displays her emptiness to the tact of understanding how to win an election.

We hereby state to Mrs OBY EZEKWESILI since she is a political student that needs to be schooled and lectured before she jumps into making mistakes that embarrasses her quest of gunning for President, that there is never a 100% turnout in polls. A quick analysis shows that in the 1999 election, Presidential voter turnout was 52%, 69% in 2003, 57% in 2007 a further dip of 53% in 2011 and 43% in 2015. This clearly shows that voter turnout has been on the average. We all acknowledge that this figures goes down for gubernatorial elections across Nigeria, which describes the Presidential election as having the most interest from the electorates. It is laughable if she threw her hat into the ring based on such baseless data analysis of hoping to win such swing votes, as we can gladly tell her that a deafening defeat at the polls is only but imminent.

We hereby state categorically that Mrs OBY EZEKWESILI should guide her utterance and concentrate on making popular her mushroom political party that is without presence in wards in Alimosho local Government area let alone Lagos state or Nigeria in general. We suspect that she is suffering from pre-election physco travails as it's certain that she will lose scandalously at the polls.

We challenge Mrs OBY EZEKWESILI to tell us the positive strides and contributions she brought to the people of Alimosho during her reign as the Dishonorable Minister of Education. We want her to tell us if she delivered block of classrooms or meaningful projects for the betterment of lives of the youths in Alimosho. We will not tolerate a narcissist who sits behind her mobile device spewing gibberish, a minion in politics, without a political structure, background or reputation, a lady that worked and partnered with the PDP to fleece and impoverish our country for 16 years, dishing out opinions that smears the person of Asiwaju Tinubu who has brought infrastructural development to Alimosho and Lagos in general.

And should Mrs OBY EZEKWESILI be very confident about her voter data on Alimosho, since she is now claiming to know the mother than the child, we challenge her to come and rEn for the smallest political office in Alimosho LGA, which is a councillor under her mushroom political party. We promise her that she will not only be beaten but will be heavily disgraced at the polls for councillorship election.
