For most of us in the south, we are struggling with the idea of Buhari winning the 2019 elections. But that is not the case with the northerners. And I will show you why. It's a carefully concocted plan to rig out the south for more years in power.

The game started with the failure of Buhari's administration. The increasing hunger and unemployment in the land. And the gruesome murders by the herdsmen. Nigerians are dissatisfied with the present government. And the north knows that is true.

But they don't want the south to use the opportunity to take power. So they began the same agenda they used against President Goodluck Jonathan. Didn't you see the sudden defection of Northern governors? Did any governor decamp from the south? The answer is no!

It was the same drama that saw five PDP governors decamp to APC towards 2015 general elections. Didn't you observe that it's the same governors that also moved back to PDP, excerpt the lost sheep? You know who I'm referring to.

The plan is to get the north an extra four years. What many Nigerians didn't see in the plot to remove Jonathan was that it had nothing to do with the economy. It was a clear Northern agenda to deny the south an additional time in power.

Goodluck was accused of ruling the country for six years. And an additional four years would have made it ten years for the south. That's too long for any government from the south to rule. And it won't mean well for the Northern hold on strategic government positions.

And from all indication, the north has seen the growing dissatisfaction for the Buhari's change. It would be a bad market to sell rotten tomatoes when tin tomatoes are cheaper in the market.

Then comes the plot to collect the power again using a different political party. In case you don't know, the rotation formula is not across party lines. If APC is in control, they will give eight years to the government of the time. And if it's PDP, they will also take their own eight years, irrespective of who becomes president.

And this time, the setting was right, as against the plot against Jonathan. Even the south won't mind giving the north a long twelve years reign, as long as the Buhari's change is dislodged.

So the north is banking on it to gain more time in power. However, this Northern plot is working. It's not a bad idea. Nigerians don't want another four years of change. This last three years did not change in sweet ways.

If not, how come Atiku has suddenly become the bride of the moment. We have all become atikulated all of a sudden. And to butter-our-bread good, an Obi, a south-eastern has been added to make it worth our time.

Who doesn't know that the south-east was not wanted in Aso rock? But this time, it's expedient. The prodigal son should be allowed to come home for this unplanned party. And that is what the east get.

But what about the south-west? As usual, juicy contracts and appointments. If you think the west will cast their vote for Buhari in 2019, you have never known a people united for a purpose like the south-west.

They will cast their vote for Tinubu and save their choice for Atiku. Tinubu will always remain a darling to the west. Don't believe what anybody tells you that Tinubu has lost his grip on the south-west. That can never happen till-death-do-us-part. And I'm not praying.

And as all parties get their share in the believing, the north will rule again. But this time the target is not to remove Buhari or Goodluck but against entire southern Nigeria. It's more of a revenge mission, to get back the four years the north claimed was stolen from them by the death of president Yaradua.

Finally, don't let the INEC release of voters register to fool you into thinking the north has all it takes to win for Buhari. They know what they want. And when the time comes, they will sing it out loud for all to hear. Get used to it now that Atiku is your next president come 2019 election.

This is a powerful and true analysis. It is sad in a way because the North never sees the South as brothers. We are all just in a game to use and exploit one another. God help Nigeria because we are still not one especially under Buhari!
