*Lazy Youth Poem*


And my bread and butter

Was victual for later

Not even when I need it

But how the government wants it

Save I have a blue blood

Do I have to fight in cold blood

They swear black was white

And made us assume darkness was light

With their cock and bull story

We burn our fingers in fairy

From dawn to dusk

Our need was gathered dust

Even when prices was jacked up

Not even a word they long to lap up

And they said we are free

But some has vowed to flee

Colonization is a thing of the past

We are still slave till the gloom of the last

With great richness

Many Nigerians live in sadness

Who's gonna stand against all odd

So help him oh Lord.
