I once went through their interview process in 2012. Made it to the final stage. Process was through a phone interview with a recruiter in ikoyi. Then a manager in abuja via phone, then hr personel in ikoyi.

Note that i have education and work experience from abroad. Funny how i realised later that the manager and hr personal were friends of my cousins. I could have used my cousins to influence the decisions if i had known earlier. I also have three friends that presently work for GE. One in HR, another Engineering for Baker Hughes and the last as a sales manager.

However, I am glad i did not get the job later as I relocated to Canada a year later and now work in a goverment organization. I now make more than i could have ever dreamt of making with GE Nigeria with the peace of mind that comes with living in a developed country.

Note that i have education and work experience from abroad. Funny how i realised later that the manager and hr personal were friends of my cousins. Exactly. Once an employee refers you.....you are 95% sure of getting the job. Foreign degree gives you a 60% chance too. If you have work experience too, maybe, in FMC, Cameron, or Solar Turbines ( Not sure anyone will move from Solar turbines to GE shaa)....you will get the job.

Yes. At a time, lots of their staff were members of AISEC at uni due to referrals. I noticed the Aisec factor during my recruitment process.
