I don't say RIP because the term is meaningless to a one whose chance at redemption ended with his/her last breath on earth. Assuming the soul of a such was not returned to dust like that of Adam, and Eve, then the soul sleeps in its grave, waiting for the time Jesus Christ will raise it to judge it.

That is the story throughout the bible.
