Aftermath of the public's outcry over the poor state of Lagos roads especially the express and other major roads which caused unnecessary traffic, headache for road users. The Lagos State ministry of works and its subsidiary has declared a state of emergency on all potholes across the state. We can say for sure that works are ongoing on all major roads across the state. From Ikorodu to Fadeyi, to Lekki, the lists are endless.

AutoReportNG was in Ikoyi this week and we passed through Keffi Road which is closer to The Beat FM studios, there used to be a bad portion for those coming from Obalende and going towards Falomo, that place is hectic but we are pleased to report that the road has been fixed.

Could this be as a result of public backlash on the state government lackadaisical attitude towards roads or they just woken up to their duties? We wish to see this spread across the remote areas and areas that are worse more than these roads.

if only something can be done from iyanobo to okoafor then will I believe there is emergency on the roads because that area is hell

Whenever I pass that road, it reminds me of places like Syria and Afghanistan.

Even Libya that has no Government has better roads than that place.

please could you try to capture (Ikorodu) Agura, ijede, Gberigbe to imota road in any of your publication, these roads are in a sorry state & are all connected, this road links Imota & Ijebu Ode .... & also links Lagos State Model college igbokuta!

what about the Luth Idi-Araba Road, Oyingbo Road linking the Island and Eko Bridge causing mad traffic everyday.

That's positive from the government. Lagosian welfare should be prioritize.

Major Inner roads in Okota are very very bad.
Adeoyo Road leading to Palm Avenue is very Bad.
Ishaga Close road leading to Mushin (around Ogun Street) is Extremmely Bad, even a truck will not be seen inside those pot Holes.

Even akwa ibom js better than this. Abeg see Roads, tell Ambode to come and check out roads in akwa ibom. Our worst roads are better than lagos 'semi-best" roads

Why do Nigerians think like fools?? It is the Nigerians who dump refuse everywhere dats d problem. Are you monkeys that you need a governor redirect u to dispose refuse properly and in need of constant monitoring by the government so once govt stops monitoring things go back to normal? Tango drivers make about N650,000 to N700,000 gross monthly gross I calculated it myself in Lagos on d longer routes.... for 35+ years it never occurred to thek to renovate their buses - the one way you speak govenor can't help it's Nigerians doing it.

Stop blaming governors as dey can't be with the 22million lagosians every time.

They should fix Oshodi/isolo express way abeg.. Jakande estate too.. they should fix those roads or loose come 2019 !!!
