A half competent staff that will not hurt the brand is better than a competent staff that is hurting your brand.

Plus who told you you are the only competent person there? Or you think there aren't other people with the same level or even higher levels of competence that will give them peace of mind?

The company will look to make sure whoever they are employing or have employed is not hurting them first
Does association oneself with a political ideology hurt the brand?

Stupid post by an asslicker. What happened to freedom of expression and freedom of association? Employers don't own employees! Slave trade is over. Slave mentality still dwells with the slaves

Nonsense!

Nobody is talking off how employers stress their staff by overworking and underpaying them. But alas, let's protect the slave drivers from public scorn. angry

Say no to Corporate slavery.

If you don't find fulfilment just resign before they sack you. Start your own company and pay as much as you presently expect to be paid. Life is free(dom) not fair.

Imagine doing business in a state and your staff is hyping a particular political party in power. Will that not be interpreted as the official position of the company? What do you think will happen if that party losses power? Will you still enjoy patronage. How about those individual customers that hold a contrary view? Will they do business with you? Won't they feel that by doing business with you they are indirectly financing a cause which is against their believe?

The company doesn't own you but you are their brand ambassador. That's why most corporations have policies regulating your social media behaviour. You either conform or resign. Certainly you have freedom to resign. As for their own scandals, you can't sanction them but they can sanction you. That's life. Not fair but free.

OK I would assume it's the nairaland official one then.

By the way I would like you guys to do something about the threads that make the front page from the religious section, for the ones that usually make it from there gives the impression that it's not a actual religion section but more of a political religion section, for it doesn't often reflect the essence of religion.

But just my view though.

Thanks for responding to my question.

Take care.
