Why do Nairaland topics always turn to a platform for abuses? Does this really reflect how Nigerians communicate? Usually people cannot seem to ignore other people being rude and before you know it most of the comments on the forums have become personalised with abuses and ethnicity , etc.
Here are some samples of what i have seen recently.

"All the female species in your house especially your useless mother that didn't teach you is a disgrace to motherhood"

"Shut the hell up...This is a faceless forum. No one cares about what you are or not. Anyone can type sh.it in here.

Your post reeked of bile and hunger. You typed like you knew Dj Cuppy personally and she had hurt you.

I checked your posts, as at last year, you were still writing Jamb. You were even born in 1999. But you come online and claim you're "living the life". Thunder fire you dia"

"I command thunder to strike you now, with you what for" lipsrsealed

This is how we roll and pass messages. If you politely pass a message on Nairaland, people won't get the cox of your message at all. That's why you must be hard on the moniker to instill some senses.

That's how it is, you must have a bullion of insults when commenting here because everyone will insult you on the smallest issues and you'll be tempted to retaliate
Sometimes I take a deep breath before opening my mentions because I know lots of insults are waiting for me there

Because Buhari is a Fulani terrorist, bigoted, nepotistic, idiotic and moronic lifeless tyrant who searches aeroplanes instead of searching for solutions to the numerous problems he created.

The moderators are not helping. Their silence alone is making this madness to trend.
