To those who may not know, in the legal profession it depicts how old you have been at the bar. That is why young lawyers are referred to as 'new wigs'. He can afford to buy many of those wigs and gowns but his years in the profession may not be recognized and may lose quality clients.

A senior lawyer has become a subject of mockery and criticisms online following his outfit to court on Tuesday (yesterday).

According to a concerned citizen who took to social media to reveal his displeasure with the lawyer's torn and raggedy wig and gown, this is not the first time the man (lawyer) has appeared in court dressed like that.

Internet users including legal practitioners criticised and berated the lawyer for the attire after these pictures were shared online as many were left shocked why a senior lawyer would dress in such manner to court considering his status.

Facebook user ‎Michael Amos‎ wrote;

"This is what a very Senior Lawyer wore to court .Today was not the first day I saw him like this.I am bothered as to why a senior lawyer will be comfortable to wear a raggy wig and gown to court.This beats me".

No matter how ridiculous this may seem at first glance, especially these photos .. Really something very funny. Perhaps many will consider it commonplace, but as for me it is not normal that a lawyer appeared in this form in a courtroom. He disgraces not only his profession, but above all the client who hired him. People should understand that by hiring such a representative, they dig their own grave in a lawsuit, because I do not think that such an attorney can rationally conduct legal proceedings and defend the interests of his client. There are good lawyers, like here, who can truly reverse the course of the lawsuit in your favor. And joking about the fact that a drunk man came to court (not to mention his appearance) can be forever.

He might be sending a message of some what.
The mere fact that he gained entrance into the court premises and standing face to face with the judge then it means something.
