As one of the renowned countries in the world, Japan has really contributed to the growth and life of many prominent people today through their academic system. Do you wish to study in Japan? Japan dates back to the year 1590 when it was founded as a nation in the Asian continent, and Tokyo is its capital. Through their many innovations and inventions, Japan has been able to draw many people to its ambiance ranging from students, tourists, businessmen and women to those going there for one business or the other. Academically, Japanese universities are among the top-ranked universities in the world that offer world-class academic programs to their students as they welcome international students also. For those who have Japan as the study destination, there are over seven hundred and eighty universities in Japan, and below are some of them.

Advanced Institute of Industrial Technology

Being ranked as the number four hundred and forty four among the institutions of higher education, the Advanced Institute of Industrial Technology is a coeducational institute that welcomes international students from all countries in the world, as their admission is based on entrance examination and student’s past academic grades and records, and their acceptance rate ranges from twenty to thirty percent. Receiving its recognition and institutional accreditation from the Ministry of education, culture and sports, science, and technology in Japan, the Advanced Institute of Industrial Technology is a public institute that dates back to the year 2006 when it was being brought into existence. With its location at Shinagawa-Ku, Tokyo in Japan, the Advanced Institute of Industrial Technology offers programs and courses to students who are aspiring for a bachelor degree.

Aichi Bunkyo University

Having its location at Nenjo-Zaka, Komaki in Japan, the Aichi Bunkyo University is one of the youngest private institutions of higher education in Japan that is being officially accredited by the Ministry of Education, culture and sport, science, and technology. As a coeducational institution that admits both male and female students, the Aichi Bunkyo University is being opened for national and international students, and their major programs include arts, humanities, business science, English etc.

Kyoto University

With its location at Kyoto in Japan, the Kyoto University is one of the renowned universities in Japan that was brought into existence in the year 1897, having affiliations with the Association of Southeast Asian institutions of higher education. Offering diverse academic programs to students that are running programs for bachelor, masters and doctoral students, the Kyoto University has an endowment of about two hundred and fifty billion dollars.

Tohoku University

As the first institution of Higher Education in Japan to open its admission portals to admit international students, the Tohuku University is among the renowned universities in Japan that were formerly operating as a medical school, dating back to the year 1736. The Tohuku University is among the Japanese imperial schools and the third oldest among all of them. Running programs for a student population of about 1,500 international students, 2,600 doctoral students, 10,000 undergraduate students, the Tohuku University has an affiliation with the Association of Pacific Rim Universities and the Association of East Asian Research Universities, and its location is at Sendai, which is actually the second largest city in Tokyo.

Aichi University

Having an academic partnership with more than forty-two different institutions of higher learning all around the globe, the Aichi University is a public liberal art university that dates back to the year 1946 when it was founded. With the aim of bringing out the best possible potentials in students through common outlook and global wisdom, Aichi University has its location in the urban area of Nagoya in Japan. Academically, the Aichi University offers programs at two different campuses; they have seven academic faculties, ten major postgraduate programs, thirty-five undergraduate programs, nine specialist research centers, with a staff population of more than four thousand academic and administrative staff.

Tokyo City University

Being officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, culture, and sports, science, and technology, the Tokyo City University is a renowned university that has its location at the urban part of Setagaya, Tokyo in Japan. Historically, the Tokyo City University dates back to the year 1949 when it was originally brought into existence. Academically, the Tokyo City University offers their programs for students in four academic campuses, and their programs are for bachelor, masters and doctoral students.

Keio University

As one of the officially recognized and accredited Japanese University, the Keio University has an academic affiliation with the council on business and society, the Association of Southeast Asian institutions of higher education. Historically, the Keio University dates back to the year 1858 when it was being established by Yukichi Fukuzawa, and it is being credited as being the first among all the modern institutions of higher education in the Japanese world, and its location is in the urban part of Minato, a place in the city of Tokyo in Japan. As a private institution, the Keio University runs diverse programs to bachelor, masters and doctoral students through their ten academic faculties and their student’s population is about thirty-three thousand seven hundred students.

Osaka University

Historically, the Osaka University is a renowned university in the world that dates back to the year 1931 when it was being founded, and it is among the Japanese imperial schools and among the best sixty-three best universities in the world. Located at the urban area of Suita in Japan, the Osaka University is a national public institution that has an endowment of more than three billion dollars. Being officially recognized and affiliated by the Association of Pacific Rim Universities, the association of East Asian Research Universities, the Osaka University has a population of about eleven thousand academic and administrative staff. Academically, the Osaka University offers diverse programs of which some are being offered with English as their language of instruction, and it is for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Kyushu University

Historically, the Kyushu University dates back to the year 1903 when it was brought into existence but was later chartered in the year 1911, and as a public school that is nationally recognized, the Kyushu University has an endowment of about seventy-two million dollars. Academically, the Kyushu University has really tried their best to make sure their students get the best out of education. This is best portrayed through their five centers for research, eleven undergraduate schools, eighteen schools for graduate students offering programs in sixteen faculties, and a hospital to complete it. With regard to population, the Kyushu University offers programs to a student population of over nineteen thousand students who are studying for either bachelor degree, masters degree or for the doctoral degree.
