One of Ghana’s Top 3 Biggest Artist, Stonebwoy, has shocked Ghanaians with the recent Revelation about his Stonebwoy’s Live Concert which was which was slated for 28th November and was to be held at o2 Academy Islington has officially been canceled. From reports reaching us, the Concert was canceled over low ticket sales.

On 28th November 2018, Stonebwoy was set to thrill his fans at the 800 capacity o2 Academy Islington. Initially, the concert was to be held at the 1,789 capacity Electric Brixton but the venue was changed o2 Academy Islington for reasons never disclosed.

According to the official website responsible for selling of Stonebwoy’s Live Concert tickets, “The show has been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances”. The website further apologized for any inconvenience.

But from information we got from reliable Sources, The “Hero” hitmaker couldn’t sell enough ticket to fill the 800 capacity venue and had to cancel. Interestingly, the ticket was selling for just £20.50 but Stonebwoy couldn’t get loyal fans to fill o2 Academy Islington.

36Hitz.Com has been informed that it was for the same reason that the organizers of the Stonebwoy’s Live Concert changed venue from a 1,789 capacity Electric Brixton to a much smaller 800 capacity o2 Academy Islington. But they, unfortunately, couldn’t even fill o2 Academy Islington and had to cancel the Show.

This has really been trending on Ghanaian Social Media pages, with Ghanaians venting out their disappointment on the so-called self acclaimed “Global Artist”.

The disappointment has left many Ghanaians comparing Ghanaian artists with their Nigerian counterpart, with them using this as a valid reason why Nigerian artists are bigger and respected than their Ghanaian counterpart, even in Ghana.

Though this isn't the first time top Ghanaian Artists have left their Ghanaian fans dissapointed. Few months ago, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale flopped badly in Nigeria at a Ghanaian Company Launch Concert in Lagos. They were unable to move crowd as the crowd were unable to recognize who they are and their songs. The disappointment lead Ghanaians pushing the agenda of banning Nigerian songs on Ghana airwaves as they were all shocked that their biggest artists were not recognized in Nigeria. Fans and Music lovers has since urged Ghanaian artists to work harder to Market themselves and their Music outside the shores of Ghana as their Nigerian Counterparts do outside Nigeria.

While fans of rivals of Stonebwoy are mocking the “Top Skanta” Hit Maker on Social Media, fans of The Bhim Nation Boss are accusing the Event Organizers of being the cause of the Failed Concert due to lack or proper Promo.

Well, Ghanaian artist, Stonebwoy, is yet to put out an official statement as to why the London show was canceled. Until then, this is the info we could get from our reliable Sources: It was canceled over poor ticket sales.

Some Nigerians were even dissing her for being too happy. We don't value our artistes success. O2 indigo dt is bigger than this venue was sold out by Tiwa, Adekunle gold and Wande Coal. Our artistes are trying and Nigerians should give them props.
