Product & Business Development Consultants

Responsibilities
The primary function of a product and business development consultant is to identify the needs of a customer and provide an opportunity for those needs to be met through the purchase of the firms core product or service. Good sales consultants will guide a potential customer to discovering their needs and then offer the best possible solution to ensure their needs are fulfilled.

More specifically;
- Meeting or exceeding business development and sales quotas and targets
- Maintaining customer relationships after the sale
- Managing a business development and sales territory
- Marketing firms products and services
- Making sales calls and contact with potential and existing customers
- Creating a customer base
- Providing service and individual attention to customers
- Keeping records of all interaction with customers, regardless of the outcome of a sale
- Remain updated on the firm's service and product knowledge
- Seek opportunities to consistently learn and train
- Develop creative sales techniques
- Grow existing account base
- Educate customers through detailed explanations and/or demonstrations

Experience
- Qualified to degree level (BSc & HND)
- Up to 1 year business development and relationship management & sales experience.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels and demonstrate a high level of initiative
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to work independently on own initiative and as part of a team.
