OK, there are varied superstitious innuendos with its level of believes by different race and cultures in the world. As a Yoruba, it is make believed that whenever it rains heavily and thunder strikes, you don't lean on the wall. A pregnant woman shouldn't sit on a mortar. Upon stepping out, and you stumbled on your left foot, something is wrong. (A bad Omen). When you have itchy fingers, money is on it's way. What's your own cultural superstitious believe? Share yours! Cc: Lalasticlala , Dominique , Mynd44 Sinistami

In Edo, you don't stand on the doorway when there is lightening. You can't move a used mortar from one destination to the other without placing a coin inside(money). When you have sore throat you might have committed an abomination( for male) The first child of a woman falls sick if she commits adultery or the husband falls ill after tasting her first meal after the act. Too numerous to mention. |
