It is very wrong for service chiefs to partake in such political function. They are meant to be apolitical, this regime has bastardized our institutions and really made mockery of the state by their actions or inactions.

All well meaning Nigerian should take the campaign to the street, inside the Bus, bring up discussion, after close of work, during lunch. Just look for a way to bring politics to the table. Buhari must be sent packing.

I have started mine already

if you overstayed in your office, you owe allegiance to the one who keeps you in office long after you ought to have left. That's the dilemma of the service chiefs.

Even though it has been stated that they were made to leave when it was made clear it was a partisan affair, Nairaland would prefer to stir controversy.

That is a very partisan move and a big mistake

If they have any respect for the institution they represent they should all resign

The service chiefs should resign immediately
Resign fire. There is nothing like shame in this country, what we are plagued with is bold criminals. Mention one public office holder that has resigned in the face of glaring corruption accusations? For instance in saner climes, Gandollar should have long been pressurized to resign by his party but what do we see.

This shouldn't be happening, our service Chiefs are now politicians. What's left is for them to follow Buhari on his campaign train.

Which they will.

That’s what happens when appointments are made on nepotistic, tribalist or religious basis. The appointee is tied by the umbilical cord to the appointed. Buhari has slowly destroyed Nigeria’s system. It will take a couple of administrations to get it back.
