Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Monday visited Delta State, South-South Nigeria.

During the visit, the former Nigerian leader commissioned several projects executed by the Ifeanyi Okowa led administration in Delta State. The projects included; the dualised old Lagos/Asaba road (from Emuhu junction to Agbor-Obi junction), the dualised Owei-Ekei/Owa-Alero road (from old Lagos/Asaba road to Owa-Alero round about) and the main bowl of the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba.

Chief Obasanjo who praised Governor Okowa for his developmental strides in the state also endorsed his bid for re-election in 2019.
