Former Chief of Staff to the Imo State governor and a contender to the state governorship ticket under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, has said that no amount of threat from the National Working Committee of APC will sway him to abandon his legitimate rights to pursue a genuine cause.

Nwosu’s position followed the threat handed to aggrieved members of the APC to withdraw their Court actions or face sanctions.

The APC NWC had threatened to invoke sanctions on all members of the party who took the party to Court over the fall out of the just concluded primaries, unless they withdraw the suits.

Nwosu, who is in court over the party’s governorship ticket in Imo State, described the threat by the National Working Committee of the party as an act of arm twisting and unacceptable.

But Nwosu who is acclaimed to have won the October 6 APC rerun governorship primary in Imo State, insisted that the threat of sanction will not stop him from pursuing his case to a logical conclusion and reclaiming his mandate.

While expressing dismay over the position of the party, Nwosu said He stated that before approaching the Court over his stolen mandate as the authentic APC governorship candidate in Imo state, he had first of all made concerted efforts to have the leadership of the party resolve the crisis using internal mechanism to no avail.

If okorocha could only spare $500k for his in-laws primary election out of all the security votes and proceeds of the substandard cheap construction project he has been spending anyhow for over 7 years, and hope uzordinma could out spend and out bribe him as alleged then okorocha failed his in-law, and failure to impose his stooge means his government would be audited by the next government and he risk exposure to EFCC. Now he learnt the hard way that affiliation with buhari doesn't guarantee you shit

Imagine the species of over ambitious political leaders with overt political rascality, failure to submit to party discipline & unbridled lawlessness that the APC have breeded for itself and Nigerian

This still confirms that the petition of financial inducement against Oshiomole to the DSS and EFCC by Rochas and others are true.

It is a mere allegation, and for avoidance of libel lawsuits its wise to let see if DSS or EFCC has enough "truth" to prosecute oshiomole
