AMNESTY OFFICE TAKES OVER MULTI-BILLION NAIRA FURNITURE COMPANY IN EDO STATE:

The Amnesty Programme, has initiated a move to take possession of a multi-billion naira furniture factory situated in Benin City, capital of Edo State which it had made substantial payment in 2013.

This factory with state of the art equipment, and product is one of it's kind in the entire West Africa Sub-Region.

It comprises the raw material, production, upholstery, fabrication, and the show room departments.

The trainees stand to benefit a lot because the factory is equipped with modern machines and proper tools for a perfect job, with experts to undertake the training's in all the departments.

Trainees in carpentry no longer need to travel out of the country to acquire this skills any longer.

The National Energy Skill Centre as it called, will train and graduate hundreds of blue-collar self reliant and self employed citizens.

Continuity is always a challenge in our country, but thank God we now have a selfless and proactive SA to the President on Niger Delta Amnesty programme, Prof. Charles Quaker Dokubo, who understands and appreciates the need to continue worthwhile projects of his predecessors.
