My name is Ghaniu Busayo, I'm into sewing and crafts making, but basically into crafts making, in the past and recently I do online trainings ranging from how to make autogele, beads. Fabric Manipulation, turbans, etc...
I teach with notes, pictures and videos some of which are mine and some not... especially YouTube videos....

Recently my bank account was frozen and after enquiry, I was told the order is from the Nigeria police force that I am to to answer to a case which I'm suspecting to be from people I use there videos for my work....

Online trainings are all over the internet in which I have participated in so many by paying to people just to get relevant materials I'm interested in.

Please what are the implications of my actions... And how can I go about the process?

They are charging you for plagiarism. Using other people's intellectual materials to make money without their consent.

I still suggest you seek a lawyers advice. Let them find out if any of the materials you used were copyrighted.

Whatever advice you get here are only palliative measures,it can't solve the problem. A competent lawyer who is related will assist.

Copyright infringement is not a big deal. It all boils down to financial settlements.

Don't be scared, you nor kill person. Contact a lawyer.

Hello dearie, I finally got a lawyer friend who helped me write the bank 2 weeks ago inquiring why the account was frozen, but she hasn't been dignified with any response.... What else can we do, I can't have access to my salary and Im expectant, this load is becoming too much for me to bear.
