More than 1000 laborers will be utilized for the Warri-Itakpe standard check rail hallway, Mr Fidet Okhiria, the Managing Director, Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) said.

"It's about 320km, around 12 stations and we need to connect with individuals that will keep up the tracks, individuals that will work in the stations and offer tickets.

"Additionally, experts that will look at the train. In this way, we will connect near more than 1000 to keep up about 320km track, both junior and senior.

"New workers can't simply be sent there; they should be prepared.

"With the end goal for them to be prepared, we will move individuals from the current staff, yet we need to supplant them. So we need to top off those situations previously the new individuals will be prepared and affirm to be a piece of the train tasks," he said.

NAN reports that NRC works one year preparing program for alumni staff and three months for the lesser staff.

As per Okhiria, the 12 stations for the train benefit are still under development, including that brief stations would be utilized pending finish.
