Artisans, youths, traders, others get N.55b today


Artisans, youths, market men and women in Ondo state are in for a good time as the state government will today disburse N0.55billion as empowerment to them.

The event which will take place at the MKO Abiola Democracy Park by 10am will also witness the launching of Apalara Micro Credit Scheme and unveiling of the Logo of the state Micro Credit Agency.

In a statement signed by the Ssenior Special Assistant to the state Governor on Micro Credit and SMEs Prince Robert Omogbeminiyi JP, stated that the empowerment programme will also touch the lives of farmers and cooperative societies in the state for the better.

The statement described the empowerment as a bold step taken by the Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu led administration to empower the good people of the state and to catapult the informal sector of the state economy towards higher productivity.
