Some children escaped death when their school bus burst into flames at St. John's axis of Ogbogoro road in Obio/Akpor local government area in port-harcourt yesterday.

According to some social media users, the school bus was conveying the children to their homes after school when the incident happened.

Pictures of the burning school bus went viral on social media yesterday.

However, the name of the school and number of the children inside the bus could not be ascertained at the time of filing this report.

The FRSC and the police in rivers state are yet to comment on the incident.
