As a follow up on the rescue operation from the site of the 7 storey building collapse in Woji that happened on Friday 23, November 2018, Five Bodies Pulled out Dead from Collapsed PH Building. Rescuers at the site of the collapsed building in Port Harcourt have rescued five dead victims late last night, their identity yet unknown.



Another victim was also rescued alive with severe injuries and was rushed to the Braithwaite Memorial Town, Old GRA in Port Harcourt also last night.



While the state government is yet to release an official update on the rescue operation, the latest rescue brings the number of those who have been brought out, either dead or alive to about 37. About 200 persons were reported in the building, including a pregnant woman when the 7 storey building collapsed on Friday, last week.



A relative who spoke to the Holy Gist on the condition of anonymity lamented that rescue operation at the site had been very slow with the necessary equipment to hasten the operation lacking.



The source who has been at the site of the incident since Friday disclosed to our correspondent that his cousin had supplied scaffolds to the site engineer and was waiting for his money when the building drop on everyone. He added that he was interacting with him from the inside as at Saturday via his phone, but lamented that the line has since then been unreachable.
