Well done Ojare , Oga Lawyer.

On a serious note, is this not the first sign that Jega will not conduct free and fair elections? We know the PDP is desperate to capture Ondo State . I think most Nigerians , given her past , would agree that Ayoka Adebayo must never be mentioned or used in any capacity, by a sincere INEC boss promising "free and fair" election. This is a baffling move and it shows that , even at this early stage, Jega may have shown that he is a compromised umpire.

Ondo REC: Lawyer drags Ayoka, Jega to court !!

As protests continue to greet the posting of Ayoka Adebayo to Ondo State as the Resident Electoral Commissioner, an Akure based legal practitioner and human rights activist, Morakinyo Ogele, has dragged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and its chairman, Attahiru Jega, to court seeking the removal of Ayoka Adebayo from the position.

In a motion notice AK/35m/2010 filed before an Akure High Court, Ogele is praying the court to order or compel Jega to remove or transfer Adebayo from Ondo State, saying that her posting was improper and may endanger lives and properties when conducting election in the state.

In his prayers to the court, Ogele who had last week called for the removal of the woman within seven days failure which he would initiate a massive protests on the streets of Akure, the Ondo State capital, averred that allowing her (Ayoka Adebayo) to conduct any election in Ondo State would result into burning of houses, killings and other related acts that may endanger lives and properties.

Other grounds of the applicant include the following: •That the last rerun election conducted by the 3rd respondent in Ekiti State resulted into anarchy and chaos where scores of Ekiti State indigenes were either maimed or wounded.

•That when the 3rd respondent conducted the last re-run election in Ekiti State, she suddenly disappeared for a week and later resurfaced. •That she resigned but was forced to come back to the office.

•That the generality of Ondo State indigenes will not tolerate the 3rd respondent in conducting any election in Ondo State.

•That any election conducted by the 3rd respondent will not produce the will of the people
