With that force, to think that it pierced through the ceiling. What if it had been on someone's body.

Akpabio is the monster behind the impeachment saga through political thuggery in Akwa ibom house of assembly.
He's doing the bidding of APC, a party known for violence with the support of Buhari, a lifeless president who drove us backward as the second poorest country of the world.

What goes up, must come down, in accordance with the universal laws of gravity. One of the things common to Pakistan and Nigeria, is that policemen and other security officers in both nations enjoy loosing off "celebratory gunfire" into the air, at parties, funerals, and marriage ceremonies, or even simply when the gunslingers become drunk enough to develop itchy trigger fingers.

Bullets departing red hot from the muzzle of an AK47 rifle in excess of 2,330 feet per second, fly in a parabolic trajectory, and ultimately impact the ground, a building, or someone's anatomy, with sufficient velocity to break bones and tear flesh asunder, far beyond earshot of the location where the trigger was pulled.

An acquaintance of mine was fast asleep in his home some years back, in Lagos Nigeria, when he was awakened by a searing pain in the flesh of his buttock, just below the spinal column. He reached back with his hand, to determine the cause of his sudden and severe pain, only to note that his hand was covered in arterial blood, which by then had soaked his entire bed.

His wife rushed him to the hospital, where a 7.62x39mm AK47 projectile was extracted by surgeons. The rifle that delivered that round had obviously been fired a good few hundred yards away in a vertical direction, because a neat hole was later discovered in the roof and ceiling of his home, exactly as shown in the picture accompanying this news report.

Luckily, no major arteries were ruptured by that "celebratory" projectile, but needless to say, the man was lucky to survive the ordeal.
