This is not one of your regular, big brother Naija article, neither is it those tales by moonlight stories we use to hear and read every time, about how husband kill wife or how rich boy fall in love with a riff rat, or how P.M express would Report about some domestic ruckus that looks Fictional and somewhat Vague, meanwhile "our man"the reporter always passes at least one un-completed bridge within his jurisdiction . This is about the question of Who gets "What, How and When" ? As Averred by À Scholar. The Question of why is life such an imbalance environment? ( for instance I was Watching the money show of February 19 2018 By, Nancy Iloh on Africa's Independent Television, where she was revealing a Statics to her guest on the Show, conducted by an international organization which revealed that by the end of February 2018 Nigeria would be the Poorest Nation in the World). And am wondering with all the Crude, All the Steel, All the Vast land that is arable for Farming and other Agricultural ventures?, All the Zinc, copper (Nysc), Gold, E.T.C, how come? What's wrong if we use the passion and Energy we channel to all these Blackberry Naija, Irrelevant Amebo, Ethnic politicking, Religious Bashing, and every other activities which serve as Distractions to our development, to pressure ( like that Bullet wounds in American movies) our Politicians on our Development, is that really Such a Hard thing to do?
Why do we have less privilege more? One would begin to reminisce If this is in line with this Marx ian Theory of the Nature and Functions of the State which Aver that, The State is Neither an Expression of Superior reason as contended by the idealist, Nor a Manifestation of Superior will as maintained by the Liberals, but an Instrument of Class power Designed to Subserve the interest of the rulling class at the Expense of It's Antagonistic Class. This theory went further to explicate how State's originate as a result of the division of Society into two classes- The haves and the have-not.Hmm, my people like that Nafdac advert of those Years which intimate the Slang "Shine your eyes", I think it's time for us to Shine our eyes, let t be wider than those of em Frogs, to the extent we begin to tax these people what they owe us.
Why should private ownership of property be widely accepted even with it's many ills? For instance in Africa, especially Nigeria, aside from the obvious facts that most of the properties are privately owned by multinationals from foreign countries, the rate at which they treat their Staffs is not a Good example of home training. Then there's also the issue of cheap labour, offering starvation wages with a daunting task allocated to you the Employee. Just imagine enh, for How long? Why most we always be at the receiving End? Both Home and Abroad?
Why can't we just change our narratives as Nigerians, why is it so hard for us to use our collective bargain for the pursuit of a better welfare? Freedom to the people means you should not be treated with fear, why should I be the one to raise my voice and shout treat us fair, when we all need the care?
