Victor AD developed a very strong passion for music at a very early age of six(6) drawing inspirations from legendary artists Bob Marley, Michael jackson, Lucky Dube and King sunny Ade. He began taking music more seriously while he was still in Auchi Polytechnic starting out as a rapper, but he later switched to singing after he discovered he was not making headway in rap.

In 2014 he released his first official single "Jowo" but the song did not receive recognition. He went on to release few more songs but they too did not do so well and were only selling in the south.
