Why it is necessary to increase salary of FRSC officials.

It's a backward development and hypocritical action of the Government in Nigeria to have an inconsistent policies.
For the years back, the Federal Road Safety Corps officials who are saddled with the responsibility of making a safer highway in the country and other duties of safely lives and properties with it's placement under presidency earn more than every other security agencies in Nigeria for the year back 2006, to be earning lowest salary as at today among the paramilitary in the country.
A grade level 03/01 in FRSC earned between #10,000-#11,000 in the year 2006/2007 which is more than the Nigeria Police Constable grade level 03 which earned between #7,000-#9,000 in the same period.
And afterwhich the government of the nation agreed to harmonised salary structure for the Nigeria police and all paramilitary agencies which took place in the late 2007, FRSC personnel salary started diminishing up till today.
It's very unfortunately that the Authority in charge knew but due to their level of hypocrisy they claimed unaware up till moment.

Despite all the hazard, harassment facing in the course of their legitimate functions in which many lives of the officials has lost and others with parmernent disability,their is a poor welfare for the officials of the FRSC.

We appeal to the government of the day to look into the affairs of the officials of FRSC which includes harmonising them with the police salary structure or more than with a special salary and welfare package.
