GISTMORE.COM Black Panther has made history as the first Marvel film to be nominated for Golden Globes award. Well, many are tipping it to be a first winner. The 2018 hit, starring Chadwick Boseman, is the highest-grossing film of the year and has now surprised people further with its nomination. Along with Black Panther, BlacKkKlansman, Bohemian Rhapsody, If Beale Street Could Talk and A Star Is Born were all nominated in the category. The film shot to the top of the box office, taking in a staggering $1.34 billion by the end of May 2018. Marvel has already announced it will be doing a sequel to the film, but it’s exact release date has not yet been confirmed. It was actually a disappointing night for the movie. It had only one nomination and none of the actors in the movie got any individual nomination. Very underwhelming after all the hype |
