Candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) for Osun State House of Assembly, Ife North State Constituency, Prince Akinyode Abidemi Oyewusi(PAAO) has called on citizens and residents of Ife North Constituency and Osun State at large to stand firm in unison with strong determination and cast their votes for all candidates of PDP in the coming 2019 general elections for better life and better future.

He stated this on Wednesday, 4th December, 2018 at the hearing of Osun governorship election petition tribunal in Abuja. In an interview with Inside Osun, an online news site, Prince Oyewusi further escalated that "what exactly are the achievements of the obnoxious APC led administration in the state in the last eight( years? Which of their executed projects truly have direct positive impact on the people of the state? Is it "Opon Imon" that faded away in less than two(2) years of introducing the initiative to the state despite the huge funds invested in the project? What educational value has it added to the system? Despite the lavish spending on educational infrastructure, Is it not surprising why Osun state still ranked 29th position in the latest WAEC performance ranking analysis released by the institution?

Away from education, what is the state of Primary Health Care System in Osun? In the last eight ( years our health care system in the state has experienced total neglect thereby making our community health care centers death traps for the citizens and residents of the state. However, the insensitivity character of barbaric APC led administration to the welfare of the people didn't stop there. For more than five(5) years, hardworking civil servants in the state were inhumanly treated as a result of irregularities in the payment of their salaries. For several years, they worked without getting their full payments and benefits which by law is their constitutional right!

This singular slavish strategy crippled the economy of the state till today thereby subjecting citizens and residents throughout the state to unquantifiable hardship an experience which has sent several people to their early graves and undignified means of livelihood. Also, the security system of the state in the last 8years is nothing to be proud of therefore subjecting lives and properties of the people living in the state into unexplainable danger! The incessant robbery attacks in towns like Iwo, Ilesha, Ikirun to mention a few are evident to this fact. Meanwhile kidnapping and killings are still on the rise at today.

However, It is clear that several white elephant projects across the state added no value to the living conditions of our people and has dragged the state into humongous debt spinning to over #300 billion Naira. The projects are clearly means of syphoning tax payer's money which they succeeded in doing.

Payback time has now come. In the 2019 general elections, let's stand firm and collectively show the oppressors that we are not fools" he concluded.

However, it is a fact that the good people of Osun state are yet to recover from the grieve of their stolen mandate in the September 22 and 27 governorship election in the state. It is therefore a clarion call for people of Ife North State Constituency and Osun state at large to heed to this call of freedom. The oppressors will soon come with their money bags for votes buying and subjecting people to the "Next Level" of poverty and hard life afterwards, say no to them!
