Mishap in the history of the country happened on Sunday as the serving Governor and (6) official Government were reported dead in a plane crash.

This happened to the governor of Gadaref, near the border with Ethiopia.

Reports has it that
" to have been aboard the ill-fated plane were the Gadaref State Agriculture minister and senior security officials"

However, they are still yet to find out the exact reasons for the unfortunate incident.

"Among the dead are Al-Qadarif governor Mirghani Saleh, his cabinet chief, the local police chief and agriculture minister" , Abstract from the the reports says.

"It has been reported that a helicopter has crashed in eastern Sudan, leaving top government officials dead. The crash killed a state governor and at least six other officials"

Witnesses said the helicopter exploded in flames after it hit a communications tower.
