I will be listing them one after the other.

INTRODUCTION

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has already scheduled the Presidential election for Saturday, 16th February, 2019, and as usual, the people’s parliaments – on social media, radio talks, TV shows, regular newspaper stands among others, are already getting suffused with misguided frenzies, and purulence of hate speeches bordering on ethnic and religious jingoism, brewing sophistical variants that are already distracting us from cogent matters, as if there are jinxes being replicated and casted on us by some public enemies, The people’s parliament are places of intellection that should percolate correct political positions to the midst of less - educated folks, to help us raise more electorates who are better informed to make quality choice. And if, in the frontline of intellection, public views are already being enveloped in atavistic modus, and discourses are already being pigeonholed in irrelevant matters such as mudslinging, cheap points, ad hominem, as time fades away unconcernedly, then, one should know beforehand that quality choice cannot be made at the polls.
In respect of the foregoing, it becomes very vital that we keep on improving our culture of scrutiny, by employing intelligent tools, sometimes as this work, which present key items on the dossier of all presidential aspirants. Works as this, naturally, will inform presidential aspirants that the matter of aspiring to become a president in Nigeria, isn’t an endeavour to handle with kid gloves. The people deserve to know your key attributes if you expect us to entrust our socioeconomic destinies in your hands for the next four years. We should be able to scrutinise your track records to appreciable extents, if you want us to trust you. As I think, this work, ought to start, or help something, at least.
