Madina Institute South Africa is an offspring of the idea conceived in California in 1989 which took the form of Ahlus Sunnah Association of North America and is still growing by dint of Shaykh Muhammad al-Ninowy’s unwavering commitment to making traditional Islamic Sciences accessible to the next generation of Muslim scholars coupled with his call on Muslims both American and worldwide to go back to the basics of the religion: the Qur’an and the Authentic Sunnah, in addition to teaching tolerance, peace, and compassion.
